Meet The Principal

Connie Io is an experienced educational leader who is passionate about ensuring every
child is seen, known, valued, and challenged every day. She holds a master’s degree in
educational administration and Supervision from the University of Colorado Denver and
has served in a variety of educational leadership roles, including curriculum specialist
and elementary principal. Most recently, she spent eight years serving as a principal
and district administrator in Mapleton Public Schools.

Inspired by her own high school principal, Connie has dedicated her career to building
strong relationships, supporting student success, and partnering with families and staff
to create a positive school community. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with
her family and exploring Colorado's outdoors.
